With over fifty teams to choose from, there are numerous opportunities for the student-athlete at Algonquin to experience the excitement that is associated with interscholastic competition. Currently, over 60% of the student body participates in athletics during their years at "The Reg".

The Athletic Department is honored to have been the recipient of eight consecutive Midland/Wachusett League Sportsmanship Awards. In addition we are extremely proud of the numerous league, district, and state championship teams we have fielded.

These awards exemplify the sacrifice, dedication, and commitment of the coaching staff and the student-athletes that represent Algonquin with pride on and off the field of play. Special thanks also goes out to the School Committee, School Administration, Booster Club and the communities of Northborough and Southborough for their continued support.
